Bison Up Close! Our Signature Sepia Image! Canvas Wrap
Our signature image, and a reminder of a special badlands adventure:
Bison are always to be considered dangerous, but with time and patience, it is possible to allow them to get close enough for a good up close shot. This one was about 8 feet from me. I did not use a telephoto lens, but I captured the image while sitting in my pickup when this big guy approached.
This sepia photograph of one of the bison which roams free in Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Dakota evokes thoughts of days long past when bison roamed the upper great plains by the millions! Learn the story of the demise of these powerful, majestic American beasts here: Why Do Bison Live in Theodore Roosevelt National Park?
