Modern Thanksgiving Day seems to be as much about madly dashing to Black Friday Sales as it does Giving Thanks.   A search through historic newspapers of the Beautiful Badlands reveals keenly advertised Thanksgiving Day sales in years past as well, but on a bit different level!

Williston Graphic

Skim through the old Williston Graphic newspaper, which began publishing in 1895 and in 1919 changed its name to the Williams County Farmers Press.  It continued to be published for another 34 years.  You’ll uncover unbelievable sales prices!
