
Best Places to Dine with Your Valentine in the Beautiful Badlands
Where will you dine with your Sweetheart on Valentine’s Day?
We recently posted a question on social media: Where is the best place to go in this area for a special Valentine’s Day dinner?
We received immediate response, and lots of it! We took that as proof that there is no shortage of eateries, or romance, in western North Dakota and eastern Montana!
In fourteen communities, 49 different area eateries were recommended by hundreds of readers. And we can think of many other dining establishments in the region which we love, but were not mentioned. There is no shortage of good places to dine in the Beautiful Badlands and Grasslands of western North Dakota and eastern Montana!
Number One: Eleven, Williston, North Dakota

Coming in right behind Eleven in Williston, was the South 40 in Sidney, Montana. It received numerous recommendations from throughout the badlands region. It’s worth a drive to dine at this well known, beloved, establishment in eastern Montana!

Number Four: The Williston Brewing Company
This eatery came up often in recommendations. We’ve always been pleased with the service and food of The Williston Brewing Company, and especially recommend their Carrot Cake for dessert! (it’s HUGE, by the way!)
Their website states:
One of Williston’s most popular restaurants. We are a full service restaurant and bar; with over 40 beers on tap, over 80 in the bottle and the largest wine selection in the state of North Dakota. We are also family friendly-ask your server about our children’s menu! Stop in and see us.

Community population was not a factor in many of the choices for Best Valentines Dining Places in western North Dakota and eastern Montana. Check out this top choice from Rhame, a little town with a lot of popularity! It’s worth the drive!
