When Spring Arrives, Hover!

Spring arrives in Watford City and hovering begins!

“I remember back in the day when I was a kid, we had to walk five miles to school, through a raging blizzard……. ”

And so the stories went for years and years as many of us grew up and heard our parents, or grandparents, or great-grandparents reminisce about the (maybe not-so) good ol’ days.  One wonders, these days, what spin this younger generation will have to tell their children, and grandchildren, and great-grand children about their good ol’ days,  “I remember back in the day when I was a kid we had to ride our hoverboards…….   “

This was a new form of transportation to us, a self-balancing scooter, and it looked rather relaxing. Hoverboard it!

Ever heard of a personal transporter? Neither had we, until we saw this! Thank you, Wikipedia.

We had to admit, as these guys rode (or drove or hovered?) away that we’d like to try this mode of transportation ourselves! Do they come in silverish-gray ?

We had an enjoyable glimpse of  ‘this good ol’day’  this week when we spent time in Watford City, North Dakota.
